Ethan Carter is a classical Pilates instructor and personal trainer with 20-years of professional experience and nearly 3-decades of athletic, sport-specific training. Ethan holds certifications by National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), American Council on Exercise (ACE), Athletic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) and Power Pilates.
Ethan has worked for notable fitness companies in New York, Los Angeles, and San Diego. He caters to both private clients and group fitness classes including indoor cycling, BOSU, TRX, and various conditioning formats.
Ethan’s teaching style is described as playful, upbeat, and supportive. His classes and training sessions are structured and focus on proper alignment and form. Ethan fosters an environment where clients of all levels can improve their strength, range of motion, cardiovascular fitness, and achieve personal fitness goals.

Private Sessions
Ethan offers private, 1-on-1, personal fitness training. The individualized focus and attention to each client's specific goals provide the maximum results.
Partner & Small Group Sessions
Partner and small group sessions are an excellent way to get fit while saving money, staying motivated, and benefitting from team comradery. Partner or 2-on-1 sessions are usually friends or couples starting together. Small groups, with a maximum of 5 clients, often have various levels of fitness participants. It is recommended to have a private session before joining, unless you are coordinating your own small group.
Group Fitness Classes
Group fitness classes are definitely a cost effective and great way to get you to the gym! Sometimes all we need is a little nudge and having that class schedule pinned to your fridge can make all the difference. Group fitness classes are what brought Ethan back to working out and his introduction to a career in the fitness industry. Ethan has been teaching group fitness classes since 2004 and loves the energetic dynamic and putting together the weekly playlists to keep everyone pumped up!
